The Synutra infant formula project, with a total investment of RMB 200 million, has been an important order for Anhydro China in the local dairy industry. Anhydro was awarded the project for a complete plant which includes a milk reception station, the wet mixing facility, followed by the evaporation and drying plant. The complete line was supplied by Anhydro China with key components and technology imported from Anhydro A/S in Denmark. The plant is with complete automatic control and represents a modern infant formula plant that encompasses the latest Anhydro technology - the Anhydro triple A dryer. Its daily milk treatment capacity is up to 680 tons and the production rate is 3500 kg/h formulated powder.

The project was kicked off at the end of 2007 and was delivered and successfully commissioned on schedule. Synutra is very satisfied with Anhydro's technology and professionalism demonstrated during the project execution, "We could not believe our eyes when we saw the high quality product coming out of the plant in such a short time after start-up. The commissioning was very successful and we are producing products exceeding all our expectations.
